Wicked Choc Chip Pud

A VERY quick and absolutely delicious dinner party pud! If you look at the list of ingredients and the method you may well think Huh! But believe me, make this, let it rest for a couple of hours and you will not be able to resist seconds! Its obviously not a healthy pud but its so rich you do really only need a little, however we would often find that after a dinner party the kids had somehow managed to sample a good part of what was left in the fridge! So don’t leave the remainder, if indeed there is any, anywhere the kids can find it!

  • 2 packs of choc chip cookies
  • plenty of whipped double cream
  • a dry sherry
  • Some chocolate to grate as decoration

  1. You will need a nice glass dish preferably about 2 inches deep. Take each cookie and dip both sides in a dish of the sherry then place it end up in the dish, then put a tsp of whipped cream against the flat side of the biscuit, then dip the next biscuit and place upright against the whipped cream, and repeat until you have used all of the biscuits, then put a layer of whipped cream over the top of the whole dish and decorate it with grated chocolate. Keep in the fridge for about 2 hours before serving. If you want to be healthier then serve it with a fruit salad.

  2. It tastes excellent the next day!
