Chocolate Chip Pud

This contains lots of cream and so is a special occasion pudding, but it is quick and easy to make and once it has had the chance to chill, the biscuits melt into the cream and taste delicious.

  • Dry sherry
  • 1 packet of chocolate chip biscuits
  • 1/2 pint double cream whipped until you have firm peaks
  • grated chocolate to decorate


  1. Make this dessert in the dish you want to serve it from. Pour some sherry into a small bowl, dip a chocolate chip biscuit into the sherry then put a teaspoonful of the cream onto the biscuit and place it vertically ie edge up at one side of the dish. Repeat this step until you have used all of the biscuits. Then spread the rest of the cream over the top of the sherry soaked biscuits, decorate with grated chocolate and then chill for an hour or so.
