Another choc chip recipe. This is one by Jo Wheatley which I have adapted slightly.
Choc Chip Cookies 2
Ingredients:
- 200g butter
- 325g light brown sugar
- 1 lge egg beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 400g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- pinch of salt
- 200g choc chips or chocolate chopped
Directions:

Heat the oven to 170C. Beat the butter and sugar together until creamy and paler in colour, then gradually add the egg and vanilla and beat well. Add the flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda and salt and mix in well, then fold in the choc chips. Using a large spoon put even sized scoops of mixture well spaced on a baking tray lined with baking parchment.

Bake for 10-1 5 minutes until they are pale golden brown.
