A simple mix that you slow roast a shoulder of pork in, making a chinese flavoured pulled pork.

Ingredients:

  • 1 shoulder of pork, boned
  • 1 tsp coriander paste
  • 1 tsp lemongrass paste
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp 5 spice
  • 1 tbsp light soy
  • 1 dsp dark soy
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 dsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp muscovado sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sechuan pepper
  • 1 tin of chopped tomatoes

Directions:

  1. Put the shoulder of pork in a deep roasting dish
  2. Mix all of the other ingredients together and pour over the pork
  3. Cover tightly with foil
  4. Cook at 160C for 3.5 hours or until the meat falls to pieces.
