A Child’s Chair

Rate this post

I found this orange painted chair for a pound at a car boot sale and stripped the multiple layers of paint off including orange, blue and gold.

Once I had used paint-stripper to get rid of all the paint I washed the chair using the outside tap to wash the remaining paint stripper off. I then left it to dry and once dry I sanded the chair down and painted it. I used emulsion paint and so will be covering it with a layer of clear varnish.

I may make a cover for the seat as it is a bit hard for a child.
