A Baked Cheesecake Using Homemade Cream Cheese

  • 8 digestive biscuits
  • 50g butter
  • 300g of homemade cheese
  • 100g milk
  • 2 dsp plain flour
  • 120g sugar
  • 1tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 egg plus 1 yolk
  • 100ml cream


  1. Put the biscuits in a plastic bag and bash with a rolling pin until they are crumbs, melt the butter and add the crumbs and stir until all the crumbs are coated in butter. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a loose bottomed 20cm cake tin.

  2. Beat all of the other ingredients together until smooth and pour onto the crumb mix, smooth it out and put in the oven at 160c for 40 minutes, then turn the oven off and let the cheesecake cool in the oven.
